I Wrote This Poem To Kill Some Time

I have an hour to murder.
How should I do it?
I could use a knife, or a fork, or a spoon,
And I could use them to dig a big hole
To bury it in once it's dead,
But the thing about murdering time is,
If you're going to set your mind to do it,
And do it with a vengeance,
It will take much of your own time,
And it will steal it, and it will destroy it,
And you will be left with absolutely nothing
But a large, empty hole.
